Dining Table UPCYCLE!

I absolutely love this table set redo! Check her out!!! The distressing came out fabulous thanks to Annie Sloan Chalk Paint !!!

She was a custom order from the cutest family out of McKinney. Here is her "Before" pics...BRACE YOURSELF!

Lots of stenciling on the table top, and each chair was a different color!  Whomever painted this table probably had Carpal tunnel when they were done! You know it took someone lots of time to paint this bad boy!
Needless to say I had lots of stripping to do since the top was going to be stained Ebony!

GORGEOUS WOOD!

That was a nasty sand job, but she took the stain beautifully!  Why do I always call all my furniture projects "she"...... ?  Anywho,
Rachel wanted the legs and chairs white with black showing thru the distressing. I used Annie Sloan Chalk paint in Graphite (underneath) and Old White, and painted the table legs and chairs and distressed her up!

Then entered two extra chairs with some burlap action and monogram stencil that I wanted to KEEP!!!

 BEFORE::

I love me some monograms! And Burlap, and Chalk Paint, and..........well you get the point.

Fabulous huh? Yes I think so too!

Perfectly PINK Chest of Drawers!

This little chest of drawers was a special order from Debbie G. out of Mesquite. She loves her some Funkie Munkie Furniture! :P
She saw the petite little chest on my "In The Works" section of my website. She has a spare bedroom for her grandbabies that she is blinging all up ! Here is the dresser before:

She is vintage and needed some TLC but I love those LEGS! She was super cute and had great lines!
She was going Pink! Every girl needs something Pink! I know I do, anyways......
Here she is getting a sanding from my MIL... She knows how to use that sander!
She calls me a slave driver! LOL!  Love that woman!

After a few coats of primer and paint the top goes Dark Walnut.  She needed a little sumpin' sumpin" so we added an applique on the top drawer.

Of course she had to ROCK the crystal knobs! Isn't she FANTASTIC??!!! I do believe so!

Mother Knows Best!

When my mom pulled up with this beast of a dresser for me to make fabulous it was hard to see the beautiful details thru the dreadfully dark finish!

It was depressing just looking at it! Some of its hardware was missing and she needed a pick me up!
We brought her in and tore her down to bare "bones" and gave her a coat of primer. She already looked brighter and with the primer color change she was unrecognizable!

Mom was looking for a color that was neutral and would bring some light into her bedroom. She chose a soft beige and wanted me to distress her up so her details would pop!

She had a passel of drawers to paint!

After some light distressing, a few coats of wipe on poly and some new hardware.....here she is!
