Racin' Stripes!

My son thinks he's grown now, and he decided (at 11yrs old) that he needs a "man cave".
WHAT???!!!
He wants a futon and a coffee table! HA! HA!
Maybe he'll do his homework on it without me asking him THREE TIMES?
*sigh ......a mother can only wish. ;)
I started his "man cave" by transforming his bookshelf/cabinet with some racin' stripes!
I tried out a recipe I found HERE on making my own chalk paint. Worked GREAT! (I used the Calcium Carbonate)

He thinks they are pretty cool...errr.....manly?

We'll see about the futon! ;)

Old White Solid Wood Dresser

I painted this cute solid wood dresser for a client. Old white bottom, dark walnut top. Just love the lines on this drawers and cute details. This color combo is so popular right now and its timeless!

Here is what she looked like BEFORE:

Yes she needed a makeover!

Ornate Chest of Drawers

Chalk Painted Chest of Drawers
Most people would have never touched this piece with paint. The tricolor stain and wood was already gorgeous.

But my client/friend, Angela and I knew what it could be with a coat of Annie Sloan Chalk paint in “Old White”!

Its unrecognizable! The details and lines can now be seen and she’s FABULOUS!
SO CLASSY!

LOVE!
